shoot process

The shoot process is broken down into three phases: before the shoot, on the day of the shoot, and after the shoot.

To give you a sense of what the experience of working together will be like, I have outlined the stages below.

1. Pre-Production

Everything we can do to make the shoot day go smoothly and efficiently is handled during this step, including: 

  • Pre-shoot phone conversations or meetings 

  • Advanced scouts (if applicable) 

  • Addressing any concerns 

  • Shooting plan 

  • Gear prep 

2. Shoot Day

After arriving on site and getting set up, the shoot will begin.

I will be photographing as much as I can during the time allocated for the shoot.  

If it is a finished project, I may adjust furniture and move everyday items to set the scene for capturing the best images. 

If it is a project under construction, I will unobtrusively move around creatively capture the important details and movements on site.

3. Post-Production

This is where the entire pre-production and shoot day process come together to produce the final images.

It is common for the post-production part of an image to take as long, or longer than the shooting process.

The photographs are sorted, processed and delivered via a private online gallery.  

Processing typically includes standard image editing colour corrections, exposure, contrast, crop, as well as retouching distractions, merging multiple exposures and advanced photoshop techniques.

Shoot Fee

$250 per hour
$400 Quarter Day

Drone

$150 per location per day

Editing

$100 per hour

  • Standard image editing

  • Colour corrections, exposure, contrast, crop

  • Retouching distractions

  • Merging multiple exposures

  • Advanced photoshop techniques

Notes

Travel by car outside of Auckland is $65 per hour to go towards travel time and petrol.
All pricing is in NZD + gst.
